Public Swimming Pools

You wouldn't really say no to having a nice relaxing day beside this pool...

On second thoughts...

Maybe I'll just have a nice swim in the sea.

Public swimming pools are a good idea; they encourage healthy, fun exercise and make for a cheap day out. Very few people can afford a private pool so leisure centres and swimming complexes attract a wide variety of people including families with young children. Swimming pools vary in size and quality. The more expensive and exclusive public pools generally have better facilities and are more hygienic.

At the less desirable pools there are lots of possible negativities:

  • Screaming children/general noise
  • Dirty water
  • Dirty floors
  • Suspicious floating objects (plasters and poo)
  • Overly safety conscious life guards/ lack of any safety at all.

Most amazing view from a swimming pool
